What if a loved one of an innocent defendant decides to help out when a prosecutor frames an innocent ?
My emphasis in quote of The Honorable James Edwin Horton who sustained a motion for a new trial, after a second conviction and death sentence against defendant Haywood Patterson of the Scottsboro cases, following the reversal in Powell v. Alabama.

«Social order is based on law, and its perpetuity on its fair and impartial administration. Deliberate injustice is more fatal to the one who imposes it than to the one on whom it is imposed. The victim may die quickly and his suffering cease, but the teachings of Chrisitanity [sic] and the uniform lesson of all history illustrate without exception that that its perpetrators not only pay the penalty themselves, but their children through endless generations….»

Hello, I just want to bring this new development in the Baby Annie (Shaken Baby Syndrome) case to your attention. On March 27, 2012, the prosecutors admitted in court that after they tested the remains of Baby Annie, they found that the baby indeed HAD genetic defects (the mother’s family side has at least 5 family members died at infancy age due to a genetic defect). There’s a lot more to this story and the case. I’ve gathered information on my blog at WordPress. Thanks for your attention.
