The movement to free the innocent is coming to Latin America. Currently there are efforts to establish projects in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Puerto Rico. Join us for the inaugural Inter-American conference on Innocence Projects, to be held July 5 and 6, 2012 in Santiago de Chile where we will promote these projects and seek to get more projects under way. This first-ever conference will be of interest to legal educators, public and private defenders office lawyers, and defensores del pueblo, and justice activists, who wish to start innocence projects in their respective countries.
