One of unfairly uncompensated exonerees interviewed for the CNN show tonight was Danny Brown of Toledo, Ohio. You can read about his case at http://www.justicefordannybrown.com. Although DNA testing identified the man who committed the rape and murder that sent Danny to prison for 20 years was identified more than a decade ago, the proseuctor has prevented Danny from receiving compensation by claiming he is still a suspect.
How can they take a mans life and not so much an apology, this is so wrong, just like what they did here in Arkansas with the WM3. I cant believe these states can get by this kind of thing. Is it not the same as fraud? And why are these states allowed to have that kind of behavior?
I almost with I hadn’t watched the Michael Morton piece.
