More calls in New Zealand for independent justice review committee

In light of this week’s decision at the Privy Council to overturn the murder conviction of New Zealand citizen Mark Lundy (see earlier post here….), ongoing debate surrounding the need for an independent review commission, along the lines of the UK’s Criminal Cases Review Commissions, has again been sparked. An earlier post here…. detailed how New Zealand authorities have long been contemplating the creation of a post-appeal review body, but they have so far resisted calls.   1. my name is gina ruiz, in april.2006 ,i was charged with attempted robbery by norwalk superior court. leaving two lil-girls behind to be raised by a convicted and abusive criminal ,and felon.due to a slander of lies by family to gain access to my inheritance and properties. unaware of my rights at the time i was advised to take a deal and was sent to prison for my very first time. scared and pregnant ,my loss has tramatized AND mediclly ill with high bloop pressure and stress.i believe i was my constitutional rights were violated and wasent given a fair trial.
