Outstanding news! Amanda suffered through Hell, few could ever imagine.
It astounded me how such a poorly contrived case with an abomination of corrupt evidence could be considered by a European judicial system and allowed to even be considered never mind presented to a pretrial stage protocol.
This is a case for reporting this to the European Court of Human Rights.
I for one would not be happy for my offsprings to travel to such a corrupt and perverted area of Italy.
David, Well said. We have places like this across America as well, drawing the unsuspected in with luxury resorts and beautiful scenery, a thin veil or a dark side equal to this part of Italy.
correction: ..a thin veil over a dark side, equal or worse than this part of Italy and their “justice” system.

The forensic evidence on this case was interesting, both the DNA results ( which showed contamination ) and the photos which showed the break-in was not staged as the prosecution claimed. However, there are also sloppy prosecutions in the United States, as the case of Richard Glossip shows ( see my blog earlier today ).

From reading the tabloids, government lawyers and “experts” since the case originated she would have been executed only a few decades ago.
Camille, I have following and supporting the Melissa Calusinski innocence escapade.
Here we experience a judicial system similar to Amanda’s horror where to save tax payer’s money on a thorough investigation, they scapegoat the last person to care for Ben Kingan then coercively interrogate her for over twelve hours just as Amanda experienced.
With Confabulation and internalised memory procedures they brainwash her into confessing that she threw the child to the ground. This evidence neither correlate to the corrupt submitted facts or the recent X-ray results
Not only did they obtain a false confession from her to convince the jury, they asked her to demonstrate the throwing of the child to the floor to thoroughly convince the jury.
What the thugs (police) did not know however was the procedure did not correlate to the X-ray results.
So they got a corrupt verdict of death from an unqualified pathologist.
Meanwhile, before the conviction of Melissa was authorised in court the Kingans parents received $2million from the now closed day care centre as compensation.
Melissa’s attorney Ms Kellner has confirmed a day in court on the 21st September in a hope of getting released. Ben Kingan, the 16 month old infant had a long history of acid reflux illness and the drug prescribed was Prevacid. The manufacturers of Prevacid were unable to attain insurance due the prevalence of many reported side effects,
One of which was ‘headaches’.
Melissa reported that Ben frequently threw his head back whilst in her care.
Melissa has been incarcerated for 6 years of a 31 year sentence.
A new qualified pathologist has discovered new x-ray evidence that
was not given to the defence at the original trial. This proves that head injury was a long standing injury that was administered at some point in time well before Melissa took up employment at the care centre.
I pray to God that the District Attorney Mike Nerhiemer will see through this disgraceful injustice and reinstate her, her FREEDOM.
