Will augmented reality make lying obsolete?


Junk Science of the future. Just like lie detector tests today some things cannot be measured accurately enough to ever be used in court.

  1. This sounds like the kind of hype we heard about the voice stress analyzer, which was created by a man with a degree from a mail-order college. Despite the lack of proof that it works, thousands of police departments use it. I hope they don’t jump on this bandwagon, too, without any scientific validation.

  2. There are too many wrongful convictions!

  3. Unfortunately, people will continue to lie. This is more junk science, as if there wasn’t already more than enough. Several people will have to be wrongfully convicted, and then reversed on appeal,
