Gordon Wood, convicted in 2008 of murdering his girlfriend in 1995 by throwing her from a cliff, has had his conviction overturned in Sydney, after serving 3 1/2 years of his 13 year sentence. The judges at appeal decided that there was sufficient doubt about the expert evidence in the case, that Wood should win his appeal and he was freed later that day. Read more about the appeal here….

I do hope the Police involved in this matter are charged along with Woods father. We saw photos of the Police and the father drinking and laughing
together which was absolutely disgraceful. I would like to know was taxpayer money used by the Police to encourage this liar to lie in court.
I hope they are all gaoled never to be released.
