What an AWSOME STORY!! I’m so glad that that this Gentleman got his life back BUT at the same time am VERY AWARE of the emotional scar’s that ANY TIME in prison will leave upon you psychologically! Just think of all of the major event’s that occurred while he spent time in prison AND WHAT FOR?? For a crime he didn’t commit in the first place!!! IF the police would have done their job correctly to begin with (tested the pubic hair) none of this would of had to happen!! Yes this IS a very large settlement BUT there’s NO AMOUNT OF MONEY that can REPLACE a gap in your life!! Missed birt’s, Wedding’s, Family reunion’s, Birthday’s Family holiday’s…. NOTHING can replace that lost time. However since NOTHING can replace that time…. I’m glad that the police officer’s that had HORSE BLINDER’S on during their investigation is getting a SWIFT KICK IN THE BUT financially for having those horse blinder’s on!!! Ha, ha, LOL LOL LOL!! I hope that ‘Other Officer’s seems this story and learns something from it!!
Accountability, oversight and responsibility will cure many of these cases. Elected, appointed and/or public employees can cover-up, sweep under the carpet actions that make it possible for innocent victims to be sentenced and a guilty person to go free to continue a life of crime.
