There is a Lifetime documentary — “Footsteps in the Snow” — on that case that goes to the heartfelt emotions of it. That is what I remember most about the doc, and that is the problem. Wanting justice for a child and getting justice are two different problems. The first does not require proof beyond a reasonable doubt. The second does.
